Mission statement: The Hillsboro Community Youth Choir is a non-profit choir committed to promoting excellence in choral music and is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth by instilling a life-long love of music through performance and education.

The Hillsboro Community Youth Choir (HCYC) includes our Prelude (preparatory), Premiere (upper elementary/middle school), and Encore (middle/high school) choirs. Our director is Cindy Uecker, choral director at Liberty High School and member of the Oregon Chorale, with over thirty years experience in choral education and conducting. With members from throughout the west metro area, HCYC gives two main annual concerts, hosts an annual choral clinic, and performs at events through the region.

Sunset A'Capella is a member of Sweet Adeline International. We are a worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education and performance.

We are a diverse group of women who share with each other the joy of singing and performing a'capella music in the barbershop style. We are available for entertaining. Our repertoire consists of jazz, broadway, golden oldies and holiday tunes. Women who love to sing are always welcome to attend our weekly rehearsals. For more information, call or visit our website.
